Elder Garcia says that he thinks its pretty warm there. So we had a pretty good week here in Ticuantepe, we're getting pretty close to the end of the transfer and my training with Elder Garcia. We have changes a week from Wednesday so this week is really important to baptize our investigators. Supposedly we're going to have a baptismal service as a zone with president monestel this Friday , I think there's like a dozen or so that we' re preparing for friday. Here's a picture of one of the ladies we' re teaching. Her name's Madely and she says that we' re her angles ... I believe her. She's really special and has been prepared for us to find and teach her at just the righ time in her life. Her father was the lead general for Nicaragua before the war here and so when...

Mom: you can stop worring now. I got yours and Jaycee and Teresha' s! They were just what I needed. My feet feel wonderful even after walking 8 miles every day , I look forward to growing my Christmas tree in September, I already ate all of the food, my companion likes the stickers and photos , I haven't made snow yet , but I do think that the T-shirt from Thomas is pretty cool. Tell Jaycee that even ifl did give her grief for color coordinating her apartment at BYU, she (and my beloved aunt) do have good taste in colors and in this case the cool tie that I got. But I am really grateful for the thought that was put into sending me so much cool stuff , I don't think anyone in the mission got better stuff for Christmas than me. Sorry I wasn't able to send pictures last week of my Christmas Festivities, but I was able to rob my companion ' s camera where he has all of the good pictures. As you can see we did eat a ton. I did receive the letter you sent Sis. Monestel at the Zone Conference and it was perfect. It was funny, they handed the letters out all at once after we had a gift exchange and the whole room went silent as we were reading our letters from our families. Then you'd hear an occasional sniffle here and there and then it just got worse from there, so they said, "okay that's enough of that" and we moved on the the next activity. Had a good week this week and we got a lot done, we should be having a baptism here in the near future if all goes as planned with our investigators (its a family!) so that's been our motivation for the last week. I'm sitting in a tiny little room right now that's l0'xl0' and about 90 degrees, so no it hasn't snowed here in Nicaragua yet and they're saying that its not likely this year ;) But we're officially in summer here and they do say that it doesn't rain here for like 6 months straight but because its so humid here everything still grows year round (thought that was interesting) .   Hello! Today we´re in the area of our zone leaders writing as a district and this cyber is a lot nicer than ours in Ticuantepe. But thanks for all of the e-mails and its fun to hear how things are going there. I recieved a bunch of mail this week from just about everyone. I got your letter mom, and the picture. That was sweet. Got one from Grandma Hansen too and thanks for the letter, keep it comin'. Sounds like everyone had a good time in Utah for Thanksgiving and I'm sure it was a busy week. Wish I could have been there with you all on Saturday, but I get to feel that same way as in the temple every day that I'm here, it just isn't quite as clean and it smells worse here. Too bad about Hostess and BYU soccer ... oh well. We're keeping busy here in our area and Elder Garcia and I are working hard to help a ton of people. Yesterday we visited with a man named Barus for the first time, and had a great first visit. He's from Luisianna (so he can speak english) but was born here in Nicaragua. He's visiting his family here for a couple of months but has had a rough time in the past. His family is fairly well off here which is hard to find, so we enjoyed air conditio...
