Ethan's Mission to Nicaragua

  I really like the picture taken of Emily´s graduation! You all look great and I can´t wait to see you in person. So I have a whole lot of things to say but I think I´m going to wait three more days to say them in person also :) I just finished the best week of my mission. I´m working so hard. We baptized Katia and her son Fernando on Saturday and I can think of no better way to finish my mission than their baptism. I am happy. I love being a missionary and its going to be really hard not being one anymore. I have a wonderful experience with President and Sister Russell on Friday when I went in for my final interview and I love them very much. I have a bunch of pictures for you all and I´ve been taking a ton. I hope everyone has a wonderful three days and I am so looking forward to seeing you so very soon. I love you.   Hello Family! So I´m sorry to not have sent many pictures nor written much in these last couple of weeks. I´m afraid that today won´t be so different, but I´ll be able to share much more with each of you in person very soon. It makes me so happy to hear about all of the great things that are happening there at home and I really am excited to see each of you and be there with you, but it is really hard to leave behind all of these things here that I love so much. I want you to know that I´m giving it all that I have and then giving what´s left to find that there´s still more to give... then I´m giving that too. I don´t want to leave behind anything, not one bit. We´re going to baptize this weekend a mother and her son and we´re working really hard to reach our weekly goals.   I would have liked for this to go out sooner, but we were busy celebrating birthdays here in the zone. There is an here who is serving in Bluefields who´s birthday is today as well (I told him I was celebrating his birthday but I was celebrating yours too). We bought him a pinata that looked like a missionary, threw about 20 eggs on him, and had pizza. So tomorrow we´re off to Managua for a Multizone activity so there are 8 more missionaries here in our house for the night than there are normally so its a party. I was thinking about Mom´s birthday throughout the week and I really hope she knows how much her half-Nicaraguan son loves her. I realize a little more every day how much Heavenly Father also loves his children...US! I am so loved that we were blessed with a baptism!   I completely agree with you and try so hard every day to appreciate all that I have. I´m going to miss being a missionary and all that comes with it.   Like I promised last week I finally have pictures for you. So this week we had transfers. I´m still here in Juigalpa with Elder Mundell (from Idaho) like before, but our son left and went to Granada (in my second area). Here´s a couple of pictures of the transfer meeting we went to in Managua. I miss Elder Collado a lot, I don´t think I´ve missed any other companion more than I`ve miss him and I hope I can see him once more before I go home. He is a district leader and senior companion and he´s sure to have a lot of success in his mission.  I have another son though! His name is Elder Mateo, he´s from the Dominican Republic. He´s a little shorter and has a Caribbean accent. He is the only one from his family that is a member and he´s a 5 year convert. He´s a lot different than Elder Collado but I love him still.
